We are looking for volunteers who have always wanted to make an environmental difference in the city, but have felt intimidated by the ideals of hardcore environmental activists or tree-huggers. We will soon be launching an eco-friendly program here in NYC and need some green-minded “regular” folks to help us establish the program and get it off the ground. The program will provide a tremendous opportunity for you to improve your and your neighbor’s interaction with and impact on the environment. As mentioned, our program is designed to appeal to people of all backgrounds and interests. It will relate to everyone from the most passionate eco-advocate to someone who has never thought of helping to protect the environment.
